“Roberts has spread before us one of his typical feasts of comprehensive scholarship. His annotations are inevitably clear and unusually full, and often they include quotations from the original phrasing. . . . Roberts, in other words, has done everything humanly possible to make this volume as helpful and as 'user-friendly' as it can be.” — Ben Jonson Journal
“Those undertaking any serious inquiry into Donne's work are well advised to begin by consulting this indispensable volume.” — Seventeenth-Century News
“Physically the book is taller and wider than the earlier pair, and it seems larger still thanks to its helpful double-column format. It is handsome in the ways we have come to expect of books produced by Duquesne University Press, but its real value, of course, lies in its impressive content and intelligent design.” — Ben Jonson Journal
“This valuable bibliography . . . is an essential purchase for research libraries.” — John Donne Journal
