Michael Lieb is research professor of humanities and professor of English at the University of Illinois, Chicago.  An Honored Scholar of the Milton Society of America, he is also recipient of the Society’s James Holly Hanford Award and the Irene Samuel Memorial Award for outstanding books and articles on Milton.

Albert C. Labriola is professor of English and Distinguished University Professor at Duquesne University.  He is editor of Milton Studies, general editor of Duquesne’s Medieval & Renaissance Literary Studies, volume editor for the “Songs and Sonnets” in The Variorum Edition of the Poetry of John Donne, and general editor of A Variorum Commentary on the Poems of John Milton.
